Interconnections between species in ecosystems are also vulnerable due to global warming. For example, changes in the food chain can occur when predators and prey do not adapt at the same rate. As a result, some species may become extinct, creating a domino effect that has the potential to destroy certain ecosystems. In the context of conservation, efforts to protect biodiversity must be adapted to ongoing climate change. Adaptation strategies, such as creating ecological corridors and protecting areas with high biodiversity, are essential. Further research into the resilience of species and ecosystems to climate change is also needed. As a proactive step, individuals and communities can also play a role in reducing their contribution to global warming by reducing their carbon footprint. Reducing the use of fossil fuels, increasing energy efficiency, and adopting sustainable agricultural practices can help mitigate the impact. The impact of global warming on biodiversity is a complex and pressing issue. To overcome these challenges, global cooperation and commitment to concrete action are essential. Collective efforts will determine the fate of not only endangered species, but also the balance of ecosystems that support life on earth.
