The impact of global climate change on biodiversity has become a major concern in environmental studies. For example, insects such as mosquitoes can spread diseases that harm animal and human populations, increasing the burden on biodiversity. The impacts of climate change are also visible on invasive species. With changing environmental conditions, invasive species can reproduce more quickly and take over habitats previously occupied by native species. This causes a decrease in genetic diversity and affects the community structure in the ecosystem. In many cases, native species cannot compete with stronger invasive species or have an advantage in new environments. The Oceans are also subject to the impacts of climate change, with increasing temperatures and acidification of sea water. This threatens marine life, from coral reefs to fish species, all of which depend on certain conditions to survive. The secrets of underwater biodiversity could be drastically lost, posing risks to the fishing industry and the wider marine ecosystem. Conservation efforts are critical to countering this trend. Practices such as habitat restoration, sustainable management, and the establishment of protected areas can help reduce the impact of climate change on biodiversity. An ecosystem-based approach and community involvement can also accelerate adaptation to change. Global awareness of this issue is increasing, encouraging countries to take decisive action to protect biodiversity which is increasingly under threat. It is important to realize that biodiversity is not just about species, but also about interdependent relationships within ecosystems. Therefore, the response to climate change must be holistic, covering various aspects and scientific disciplines to create effective and sustainable solutions.
