A player can also use bluffing. A bluff is an aggressive bet with a weak hand. Bluffing is especially effective with only one or two opponents.
Reading other players is the key to poker. The best way to do this is to observe their actions and their tendencies. If a player bets with a poor hand, but later makes a good bet, he can sway the other players to fold.
